A Time Proven Tradition!

Back in 1925, David Findlay started the foundry where the first "Oval" wood cook stove was made. Today, after over 80 years of continuous production, the company now known as Heartland Appliances is still building the Oval, virtually unchanged save for a few technological improvements that have come along since Findlay's time.

In recent years, Heartland Appliances has introduced the smaller Sweet Heart wood cookstove, as well as state-of-the-art gas and electric ranges, refrigerators and wall ovens with the traditional appearance of the famous Oval, using many of the same parts, coated with the same thick porcelain and genuine nickel.

New for 2007 - In partnership with the famous Aga foundry in England, Heartland Appliances now offers the Artisan Wood Cookstove and Cookmaster Gas Stoves, featuring the famous Aga appearance and craftsmanship. To view the Aga cook stoves, click here.
