Awhile back, we received an E-mail request:

"I live right on the beach, where salt waves splash onto my deck whenever the wind picks up. My wife and I both love the taste and low fat content of barbecued food, so our outdoor gas grill gets used nearly every day. The problem is, the combination of the salt air and heavy use has destroyed six premium barbecues from various manufacturers in as many years.
